Thanks Cobey for the chainsaw races, first time I have done that. I can see why and how those can become so competitive. We were just having fun today but was already thinking of how to get my setup faster

I am hurting so bad today I can't wiggle.
Most what we did was was hot over one cut. I can't get the saw off the deck anymore, and my up cut sucks.
I can still drag race saws a little.
Those cants were just hard enough to
Slow a saw down. Steves 390 didn't
Know they were there. Got some "perspective" on saw power.
Too aggressive of chain slowed a small saw down in that stuff.

The cants were a little on the small side. Maybe 6x6 at the most. Didn't even slow down the 390 or the 670. Finally ran the Double Eagle 80 with the long bar and skip chain. Bar and chain had never been in wood before. Looked a little dorky. Cutting a 10 inch log with a 32 inch bar.

It was more of a "Get up there and run what ya brung" type of thing. However, I thought I did very well against Cobey's Wiggs prepared Partner.
That thing is just plain mean.
Cobey put it best. He thinks it was blessed by a voodoo princess dancing around it naked with a dead chicken.
It's possessed.

Nice getting back to some sense of normal after the last few days..

Isaac and my wife were at my mom's this afternoon. Sam wanted to go over there too. I decided to drop him off and go to the woodlot to stack, noodle, and cut up some limbs. When I get to my mom's 2 of my brothers were there (1 from Tulsa, the other from Ft. Smith) with their families. I decided to stay and my stepdad cooked dinner (fried fish, mashed potatoes, baked beans, corn bread, sliced onion, and tomatoes). It was a pleasant surprise to see my bros, even though the b-holes didn't call me, and that wood isn't going anywhere.
