Looks like early morning bite is good trolling Eagle Rock. Shut off about 11:30, but still picked up a few here and there. @Sawdust Man still wanting to go?

What do you use to stretch out those Crappies like that? Them's some nice ones!

Gotta jump up and down on them a few times. Got a bit of rain here last night and the temperature is dropping now. I was going to hit a lake today but it looks like I will just get some work done at home. Need to put a clutch in my car so I may start that today.

Morning everybody.

Storms woke me up at 1:30 this morning. Got up to check outside conditions. Trees were still upright, no limbs trying to relocate elsewhere, not much wind at all. Don’t know what it is about this part of the planet but sometimes bad storms will split going north and south of us. I was worried enough I took the wife’s Cat Toy over to my oldest son’s house and parked it in the garage.

We got a car wash rain at the house last night.

If you want we could hit Cape Fair and try for spoonbill. I'll make it your call, I just enjoy the time on the water and I'm on vacation. For some reason my wife always worries when I am on the boat by myself. Will it just be you or your kid(s) as well?

I guess I am picking my boy up from school about 3:30 today and hitting Miami for spoonbill. Anybody want to join us, we will be there about 4:30 and depending on how the fishing is we will leave whenever. Fairground side look for the white F250.

I'm thinking crappie or maybe walleye, but spoonbill would be cool too.
Mainly I just want to catch fish that are good eating.......I really don't have a clue when it comes to fishing.
I'm planning to bring my 15 yr old son, he's desperately needing to catch a fish.....even a carp or sucker would make his day.
Cape fair looks like a good halfway-place to meet up, so if you think we'll catch something in that area let's go for it.
We can be there as early as necessary.
