That's a heck of a package deal!Good afternoon y'all.
I've used my Stihls for 3 decades with no complaints. Until today, I've never found a good, used Husqvarna. Today, I finally found a Husqvarna that seems to be in good mechanical condition. Found a 372 in good used shape at a pawn shop. It doesn't appear to be clapped out. It has great compression and fired right up. Priced at 229! Same shop had a very nice 200t, great condition MS271and a cherry 028 with original case. I got em down th 500 out the door for the four. I'm really excited about the Husqvarna and the 200t. I bought a 200t new and it's a great saw.
The Husqvarna may have an air leak. I thought it revved just a little when I started it. It looks like a good, honest saw that's been well used but well taken care of.
EDIT IT'S A 371XP.That's a heck of a package deal!
No experience with a 440, but the 372s are fine cutting machines. It doesn't happen often. Good, used Husqvarna saws are hard to find around the Wichita area. For every Husqvarna dealer, there's at least 10 Stihl dealers. Even more so now that Ace Hardware, Atwoods, Northern Tool, and who knows who else are selling Stihl. Used Husqvarnas are usually box store junk.
I'm eager to check this 372 for safe use and compare it to my MS440
Nope, I never heard that but I did hear :Said no mother,,,,ever
