Lucky J arena is an interesting business concept..

It’s a steakhouse/bar that you can sit and eat or have cocktails while watching barrel racing or roping events.. the place is always covered up..

There was a place I went to once out in Colorado, Penrose I think, that had a similar setup. I wish I could remember the name of it, but that's been 20 yrs ago.

Basically it was a rodeo arena, with a bar and grill on one end of it, on the second story. So a person could overlook any event they had.

Pretty cool idea.

The excavation company made it out today and got the trench in for the insulated lines to my boiler.
Parts of the trench looked more like we were digging a basement by the time he pulled the rocks out.
We poked a hole in the conduit for the shop power, otherwise no damage to any infrastructure.
I am so thankful we didn't have to do it all with pick axes and shovels!

Looks good brother..... that's actually a pretty nice clean ditch for Ozarks....
On our place, I usually hit bedrock at less than 2 feed down.

Nice thing bout living in the south, is anything over 18” won’t freeze..

Unless you’re under a driveway, then go deeper.

I don't know yet.
My schedule is overflowing right now.
Hopefully I can go pickup the insulated pipe within the next two days. Then I have a guy coming with a skidsteer to cover the trench and move the 2" chat base to make a place to sit the boiler.

I haven't fixed it yet. Don't know what I am going to do with it...
I have seen a piece of conduit cut and heated to make it conform to the shape, and then glued on. I may try that. Or just cover it up like it is. I doubt I will ever do anything with it anyway. If I ever need to change the wire, then it will get up-sized to 200A anyway.

The insulated pipe is $15.50 a foot...
It should be a cry once purchase though. After that it pays to have done it right.
With the chosen location, I only need to buy 75'.
Now I remember why I have never installed an outdoor boiler... yeesh...
May still get one, but probably not for this house..
Not enough square footage to math it out.
More horsepower than I need right now.
