Pick a place.Just got home from going to Escape Room KC, we had a group of 8 including Brenda and I.
I must say it was a Very good time, we did make it out with 2 mins 28 secs left. If anyone is
thinking about doing it, it is FUN! It is amazing how fast 60 minutes seems to pass when
you are locked in a room trying to figure your way out.
Got the windows open, wow this weather feels good.
See you guys next Saturday. Are we meeting somewhere for breakfast?![]()
Especially when you ain't sweating drinking it!Morning Carl, Thomas and crew.
A wonderful morning it is in KC North! Something about enjoying a smokin hot cup of Joe on the deck
good for stress relief it is.
Bout the only place in town for a hot breakfast is the New Grill on N National. That all changes in a couple months when we get Chad Daddy's open then I will have to have you all in for some real breakfast!!!Most likely pulling out at 0600, should be in town ready to eat by 0800
What engine is in it? The newer 4cy engines were basically throw away motors from aa rebuilding standpoint. The 3.0s are pretty good overall and the 4.0s pull pretty well, but not always the best on mileage...Morning everybody. Been playing around with the trade truck this weekend. It's up on stands right now, just checking things over and servicing things. Bringing things up to standards. This is my 4th truck I've traded straight across for and seems to be in the best overall condition mechanically. I'll drive it for a couple of years then give it to my granddaughter when she turns 16.![]()
We are leaving about 6:00 -6:30 Sounds like its the New Grill on N NationalMost likely pulling out at 0600, should be in town ready to eat by 0800
It's the 3.0. I've had Rangers and Bronco 2's seems like forever. I've had a 99 since new, 2.5 four cylinder. Good durable engines, just don't get crazy with them. In '01 they went back to the 2.3, but it was a dohc, totally new design. Of the v-6's that came in them the 2.8's were ok but gutless. The 2.9's had good power and the 4.0's had gobs of power. But both engines had valve train problems. Mainly because of timing chain tensioner problems. The tensioner is hydraulic via oil pressure. If the tensioner starts leaking oil, the pressure drops and starves the lifters and valves. Causing the lifters to wear, then you start getting clicking rocker arms, plus they had head problems. The heads were improved in later 2.9's and 4.0's and were better. Early 2000's they changed the 4.0 from ohv to ohc. Good engines but a nightmare to work on. The timing chain ran from the crank front to a dummy shaft where the cam used to be. Then another chain went to the drivers side cam. From the rear of the drivers side cam another chain ran to the passenger side cam across the back of the engine. These engines were made in Cologne, Germany. They came out with the 3.0 in 95. Totally different engine, nothing in common with the German engines. Good runners, good power and have been known to run over 300,000 miles and didn't have any of the problems the Cologne engines had. What engine is in it? The newer 4cy engines were basically throw away motors from aa rebuilding standpoint. The 3.0s are pretty good overall and the 4.0s pull pretty well, but not always the best on mileage...

I just talked to Allen Warren (president this year) and he said there is electric by the new metal building they put up to replace some of the old ones that were torn down. And that you could use that. I believe it's in the same general area that you parked it at last year. Are you heading up Friday again?Do you think I can plug my RV into the same place as last time?
