looks good but you need stove for winter and BAFan for summer

It is 256 square ft. Do you think a small window unit would cool it and a small portable heater would heat it? It wouldn't take much stove to run you out and would take up lots of space.

Yes.

Not a bad rendition.

Now make up a parts list.

100 - 8' 2x4's or equivalent log material for starters.
15 pieces of 10' long roofing metal.
Misc. logs enough to mill 450-500 board feet of rough sawn boards.
20 - cedar logs for skeletal framework or so.

Lotsa nails / 3" screws...

What size cedar (length and diameter)?

Are we making the 2x4s or do we need to find some already cut?

Do we need the door with frame or just the door and you frame it?

Windows?

Sorry for all the questions. Just thinking out loud. Hopefully we can scrounge most of the stuff we need.

1. Over 8' long and as big as you can scrounge.
2. we'll make as many as we can, and buy what we can't.
3. Not sure on the door.
4. Even a good old fashioned storm window is pretty handy.

That would be great, but seeing as I don't have a pole barn, I'd need to build it at least 30'x40' to accommodate at least 2 cars, 1x motorcycle a decent bench and then figure out if the burner would be a IWB or an OWB... Maybe a high efficiency OWB and just run pex line through the floor for radiant heat?

Darick messaged Norwood on Sat and got a response on Sunday, how's that for service. They called us this morning and said they would overnight the 2x3 uprights for the saw head that they forgot, so we should have them tomorrow Early PM!

I really think the Norwood company has the advantage over the wood mizer folks..
Just from observing the 2 machines in person.
But both are fantastic tools.

Track and field is coming. I am getting 5-6 channels of Olympics, have watched basketball, volleyball, handball, water polo, soccer, archery, judo, plus the 2 you mentioned. Would like to see more Judo, if one of those black belt judokas gets a hold of you, you are going for a ride.

Morning midlanders!

032 driving me nuts. (actually, just a short putt). Starts and runs well, responds to carb adjustment. Then, when you think you can let it idle, it dies and won't restart without a dribble and hold it WOT.[emoji21] or, not at all until cold.

Coil signing off with the heat maybe.
