Evening all. Anyone ever run a Redmax GZ4500? I picked one up (in pieces) recently and it is a stout little saw for only 45 cc's. It spools up wicked fast - strato carb setup.

I have one that needs bearing s and seals. Wanted to set it up as a block out carving saw. But never got the seals I ordered.... Nice engineering in that little strato reminds me of the design of the 562 husky.

Order them again! I'm no expert on saws, but I think this little Redmax is one of the best kept secrets out there. Mine is stock - not even a muffler mod yet - and it has a nice combination of speed and grunt. One thing - the fuel tank grommet where the fuel line goes into the tank is prone to having a bad seal. It's nothing some SealsAll won't fix.
