Looks like it's time for Carl to grab the oar again..

Can't count on the millenials to do it

Well all I can say is being sick sucks. Been running fever since Monday night. Went and got tested for flu and rona yesterday. Negative for flu still waiting on the other results. But found out we had a positive case in my Dept at work. Feeling better today than yesterday but ain’t no joke.

Good afternoon y'all. My minor bout with covid was nothing compared to the flu I had some years ago(knock wood). It could still come back for round 2 though.

Just sold an 041, cool old saw. But not as cool as the 056 I have! Everything but the ignition switch works, even the chain brake. The 041 didnt even have a chain brake. Now the dilemma, sell the 056 or sell my 440 and keep the old school saw?

If the 440 is in good shape it may bring more since several folks like to put 460 p/c on them.

It's in real nice shape. If I sell it, I'll still have my like new 441. Its cut 4 trees, and three were pines that I cut to 10 foot lengths for the guy. Very low time saw. Anyone can have a 440, but having a 056 is kind of unique.lol I just need the plastic top half the handle. The old one is there but held on with tape. I've thought about a total restoration but it would lose 40 years of character.

I am not a fan of the total restorations for 95% of the saws, maybe more
