Stoped by two auto parts stores and two industrial supply houses with no luck. [emoji90]

While it's still before noon; Good Morning, find it is quite a bit cooler inside, and cooler yet in the creek. Found that overnight the creek gets 10° or more cooler than airhotter water molecules evaporate leaving the cooler behind. Remembering physics that Dad, the engineer, told me still hurts twixt ears

Had a decision to make today : take a shortcut or go the long way around. I got out looked it over, the the hopeful idiot & wishful thinker in my head convinced me to try it... Apparently there was no bottom in that there mud hole the front went right thru but the rear end went right to the frame. I got a nice mile hike in today...

Finally got the old girl running. Been working on it since Monday. And it actually makes electricity. I like these old Onan generators.

The fun part was watching him describe why "double bagging" plastic bags was no stronger to a checker or three. Includes only one actually has the load and if that'n breaks the other gets the load and it was made before or after the broken one so equally weak.
May have been more. I have seen peeps w/double bagged gallon of milk not make it out to parking lot before milk was all over there ankles n so on. Bag doesn't always last thru 10# or so bounce inside it. Carton made to hold product but not to bounce.

It was in 4wd & the differential was locked in. It wouldn’t haul itself up out of there. Hard as a road on both sides. The front couldn’t get a bite on that hard ground & the back was sucked in.
