Found some treated 6 by 6 on road about a year ago, had left over 2 by 8 treated from a house we remodel, so I built a nice shooting bench yesterday.

Heavy as hell but zero movement

Nicely STOUT unit. One question, how's it getting out the door?

94 degrees real American here today...

How odd for early June...

And humid as hell...
Last few years June has been hot. Seems like it kicks into high gear all at once. Reason I remember this is how it affect my feet every year. By the end of the day my dogs are barking pretty hard. I was showing a high of 97 with 66% humidity yesterday.

Sweet corn was planted sunday afternoon..
Tried something different this year.
Set planter to about 1-1.5”, slit the gumbo open, then only closed the row enough to hide the seed.
There was enough moisture in the ground to germinate them, and the slit allowed them an easy sprout instead of pushing through concrete..

My ‘53 half ton was drug to south St. Louis county out of a cornfield near Millstedt, Il.

Dumped in the engine & torqueflite out of my ‘57 Desoto.

It had four circus fat ladies on the front bumper until I swapped in a ‘70 Dodge 318 & (much, much) lighter torqueflite.

It was a bolt in. Mopar continued the same motor mount block pattern. [emoji108]

F70 15’s do not make for light steering. [emoji21]

Sold that truck three times.
