You’ll been fine as long as you are under 90mph on I-70, stop thru & see @Cat 525 in Abilene to break up the trip.

Anybody know an automotive person in the Houston TX area?
The van I found is in Houston, and I would love to get an independent inspection to get a better idea of condition. Rust is my biggest concern. Nearly anything can be replaced, but a rusty unibody is a real problem.

EDIT: Fixed the city name.

Jason, one of the companies that I work for does pre-purchase inspections. I can check with them if you would like. They're based in Texas.

Hope they knew how to set them. I've heard of people getting one or both arms stuck in them. You're pretty much hosed when that happens.

You are supposed to carry a piece of rope with a loop in one end with you to use your teeth to get out. I’ve had to do that once. Not fun but def will get you out of a bind.
