What is your method of finding a specific used vehicle?
Got rear-ended today, and expect a total.

Car guru is been my best place for my last 2 I’ve bought search nation wide for hard to find.

That’s unfortunate that you were in an accident, glad you are ok.
I have a brother-in-law that sells cars & he can find about anything but I have to be very specific or he blows up my phone with texts, pictures & calls. That’s when the ignore button starts getting used...

I need a cargo van.
It can be an 07-09 (some of the later 09's had DEF, so it can't be one of those).
170" WB, High top. Prefer 3500, but a 2500 will work.
Any rust must be very minor.
Higher mileage is okay, but I would prefer it to be under 300K.
I have cash to buy what I want, but am hoping to stay under $20K. For the right rig, I will go up.

I was slowing down for a vehicle who was making a right turn. I would guess I was around 20-30 mph. I don't think he even hit his brakes.

I watched him run all the way to the left side of the road a couple of miles previous. I should have had my eye on him when I was slowing down...

The damage doesn't appear too bad at first, but the unibody is crushed in enough that I was getting strange noises in the running gear when I would accelerate.
I peeked in one rear door, but have not even tried to assess any damage to the contents yet.
His truck won't be making it back on the road. The hexagon bracket for the front passenger torsion arm was in the road. His front end centered on the driver's corner of my van. (No, the Amish man was not driving. The wreck happened right beside his house )

Finally got the new push plate for the 3.5” rod end of the new cylinder...
of course it’s not 100% correct and will require modification, like every other *f-wording thing on this splitter...



Bring on some more 7018...

Next up? A valve with 3/4” working ports to operate the cylinder.
