I got a bit more before it started getting dark, I needed a bit more light to figure the maze of how they dropped them. It’s pretty crazy, they are just dropping them on fire rings, grills & picnic tables.

It is the park ranger, his assistant & some other fella. They finally started hauling limbs out today, I guess the tent campers they had last night must of got them motivated.Guberment workers I take it! Getting nice wood out of there.
I have taken 4 loads with my little trailer, 1 trailer load with my brothers 16’ dump trailer & 10 pickup loads. Mostly Ash & Oak, I got a little jag of Silver Maple & probably 3-1/2 loads of Shagbark Hickory. I figure I may as well get it while I have time & it’s about 4 miles from my house.Oak and ash??
#winning..
Gubmnt doesn't pay any more for missing stuff that may bend. Which way does it gonna drop? Ill go away at this way so I'm not hit.... lolIt is the park ranger, his assistant & some other fella. Quiet....Well chit, I woke up @ 1:45am, couldn’t figure out what was wrong, started straining to hear any little noises, then it dawned on me I could hear all the little noises. After 3 days/nights of the house creaking/groaning & the wind howling there wasn’t a skiff of air moving outside.
@hoskvarna Did you get any of that line of storms that went thru? I saw there was a T-Storm watch over that way.

I like to hear if things in the night: like the wind coming up when a front moves in, when it starts raining so I can get up & shut the windows, vehicles slinking by in the night, coyotes talking, bobcats screaming & teens thinking they could sneak out or stagger in late. Now a fan would help occasionally to drown out Mama’s attempts at imitating an in muffled chainsaw but we have other bedrooms for that.I sleep with a fan so I never have that problem...unless the power goes out
