OK @JimBear do tell......Pilot, Flying J, QuikTrip?

Local fuel card-trol for MFA was the culprit. No troubles at the MFA in Sheridan or Maryville MO. or any any of the other MFA’s I used to stop at in MO or AR.

I have to be in a pretty bad way to even think about venturing into a Pilot, Flying J, Loves, TA Petro. Your more apt to get mugged, relieved of your fuel, tire chains or anything else not securely fastened down or locked up and more likely to get into an accident than in rush hour icy conditions at those chit holes than any other place. Plus their fuel prices are higher. Flying J in Emporia KS was always $.20 gallon higher than fuel just around the corner @ Phillips 66.

Say you need a valve spring compression tool for a gen 3 Hemi? Not a problem. Few hours on the lathe and mill and good to go.

And a factory made one we used for a pattern.

We made some progress on the packaging machine on Monday.
Here is a video of the packet making process with everything but the filler.
Today's project is to work on getting the weighing and filling process figured out.
Get real familiar with that machine Jason...

They gonna need your services real regular in the future..
May also get a direct line to the folks in China and maybe brush up on your mandarin..

Yup.
Already figured that out...

We got the 14 head weigher running today and packing rice (as a test).
We were packing 5 grams with an accuracy of about .2 grams.
All was well until the web broke.
Got to looking and the encoder coupler had broke in two because they used a plastic coupler and had nearly 1/16" misalignment (parallel)...
Poor workmanship, and some low quality components, mixed in with some very nice components.
It could be a nice machine, but you have to go all the way with it. They stopped short...
