Evening all! Just got back from the M.I.L's Thanksgiving. Having just lost her older sister, my normally mildly B-word-y MIL was a full on mess. I elected for us to leave early, but not before two other sister had already got fed up and left. That was maybe the most uncomfortable one I've ever seen. Though, I did point out to my dear loving Wife, that she reacted to her Mother's biting people's heads off, the same way I react to her when She's doing it... It got real quiet after that. Either she's actually contemplating it, OR, she's planning my demise... Time will tell.

On another note, I picked up a slightly beat up, but good runner Husky 2100. Now I need to find a few misc parts to make it more better-er... A kill Switch, figure out what's up with the manual override-oiler, (pushes down, but won't spring back, and sometimes gets stuck in the down position, but does push oil), and a filter/top cover. It has the silly can type foam filter, and I'd like to either make it original, or at least a better cylinder type filter.

Your MIL rates right up there with mine. I use to let it slide but now I'll turn it in to a full blow Jerry Springer episode.

I have a "nuttier than a fruitcake MIL" too. My wife banned her from Thanksgiving dinner, not the first time either. I told my wife to give me the word and I will ban her for life. It's sad, because it doesn't have to be that way, and it shouldn't.

My sister is the same way. Haven't seen or talked to her since my brother passed 6 years ago.
Honestly don't care either. I agree it's a shame but my wife is more important.
