How well does the 661 pull a 72"? That's a ton of bar!

I guess I'm part of the minority, since all I have is Stihl, 1 Echo 355t, and a bunch of Mcculloch's I'm going to sell. I was going to get a Husky 395 at the beginning of the year, but held off due to the madness. I must also be missing something with the flippy caps. I don't mind 'em.
I've not used that one yet.o_O However a 60" bar with 8 pin drive sprocket it was a blast in a fat maple. Got it for a grand including shipping. Came ported with a tank or 2 run thru the carb. Broke in early on that maple on my mechanics place and just chews & chews.

Good morning!
I recently had a new phone cover made up. [emoji846]
I used the logo on one of my service memo binders for the image setup.

Thank you to all veterans
Y'all welcome. Anybody know of a tdi jetta, Passat manual, resonable. Other option is a 1.9 liter motor from a bad body to swap into 1970 vw bus ;) 3-4 x hp in the back of that rascal:aplastao:

Ah, ported, that makes sense.

So let me ask all of ya, since y'all have a ton more experience than I do (I've never ran a ported saw for example). For strictly milling and cutting stumps, would a 3120, stock other than muffler, timing advance and the carb swapped for a fully adjustable, or a ported 395 or ported 661 (either or) be better? I will be milling Elm, Locust, and Hackberry, up to 4 foot diameter trunks. Will a ported 395 or ported 661 be better than the 3120?

I've never done any milling but from what I see, hear and discuss with those that do milling any one of those 3 are the ones to use.
If I were to get onto milling, I think the 395 would be my choice.

My direct experience milling is limited to 70-90cc PH Stihl brand. Once the 661 broke in I smile while it's throwing chips. I have used mufmodded 460 with skip chisel with 42 " bar on ash with decent success.
If you find a ported 90cc saw in your price range I'd go for it, everything else being compatible with what you may have in existing inventory. Which is why Stihl is all I use regularly by me. Limits need for bar&chain combos and so on.
Enjoy safely
