Talked to a local farmer that 10,000 on the kaw river recently. Said his first field was yielding 320 bsh/ac.

Unless this is certified by onsite scale and mapping of acreage I am going to throw the
*B-S.... Flag.

Not saying it isn't true, just need documentation from an independent certified testing company.

Where I come from that stops all of the smack talk.

We run that size on the head trailers, one hauls a 35’ bean head & the other one hauls an 8row corn head. I believe the are Carlisle. We have never blown one out. Maybe it was just a bad tire. I just put new Carlisle’s on this trailer, I think they are 8 ply. I will look tomorrow to see what they cost & confirm plys.

By all evidence, I'm inclined to go with a bad tire. The tires I took off were actually in very good condition, just old. The originals are 6 ply rated. When aired up I noticed the tread stays nice and flat. When the new ones were aired up the tread balloons out about an inch and a half. And these are 10 ply rated.
But I got them for $25 each. You get what you pay for.

He could be for I know. But the way some of these fields looked this year he could be close.

Busting 300 is becoming common. Busting it by 20 per acre not so much.
Around these parts, the very best irrigated corn can go over 200, but never close to 300 that I've seen.
It takes very special circumstances and management to get into the "super yeild" range.
Then the weather still has to cooperate.
There is a fella in GA who has been getting some stupid high yields.
I'll see if I can find a link.
Our dryland corn is averaging about 125 bu to the acre. And it didn't look all that bad.

The Farm Boss is a runner. [emoji106]. Got the carb ballparked. Fast idle for twenty minutes.

Clutch washer E clip jumped ship. Created a panic moment. It was a touch too big. [emoji2960]

I have pieced the multi broken muffler on but it can’t stay that way.[emoji1785]
