Bucked up one pile of hedge today Mostly with the little echo, but the 346 did bark some... On a related note, I came to the rescue of a former DeMolay Brother a few weeks ago, who lost a three way crotch black Walnut. It was't all that large, but the base was 35" or so, due to breaking and remodeling. I thought I came to clean up what was down, but we wound up taking out what was left standing too. I just wasn't prepared for that, or I'd have thrown in a different mix of saws as all I brought was the 372/28" and the 660/32" 404.

It made me laugh as that was the first time in probably 6 months I ran the Stumpbroke 372, and I ran 5 tanks through it. I sometimes forget how well Stumpy built that saw, as much as I tend to run the 562 and 262 a lot more, and then skip to the 90cc saws. I do think about selling it occasionally, but then I run it and change my mind. I just need to figure out how to mod the exhaust so it's not so frenching obnoxious.

He got it finished up last night.
Water running out of 3 spots in the west and northwest banks. there's about 3' of water in the deepest hole.
There is a lot of contours in the bottom, not just a bowl.

At least he could get ahead enough to provide the seepage with a deep hole to collect in. Glad he finished. The longer a project like that takes the more complications set in it seems.

Here’s how I do it

Been working on grandmas car. After we got done installing a new trans we noticed no power. Can’t believe this thing was even running as good as it was. This is the inside of the cat. The black dots are the only spots open. Prlly 90-95% blocked off. Crazy. Had to take it for an open manifold test drive to check it out. Good to go now. Gut thus thing and put it back in and all will be well!

Good morning!
Went to St Louis yesterday to pick up some VW Passat TDI's at the auction for the local VW dealer. Averaged 44MPG on the way back.
On the way to meet up to head out to St Louis, I had a small deer run out in front of the Avalanche. I hit it dead center on the front license plate, rolled it under the truck, and drove over it. I looked in my rearview and it was obvious that he was dead dead, so I kept going. The brush guard that I installed a couple months back saved my grille.

Deer guards work. My son has them on his Kenworth and tried to drive between two deer that appeared on the road. Well, he got both of them with no damage to either of the truck’s fenders.

When he called it in, he was told to go back and clean up some of the mess on the road. He told her, Ma’am I can’t. I don’t carry a mop in my truck!

It depends. If you're trying to sell it on the open market, I doubt you'd get very much. The Mcculloch name only means something to a collector like me. The general public only sees names like Stihl and Husqvarna.
Even as a collector I try to limit myself to $40. And that's for a nice looking runner.

Yeah. A saw a couple cars pull over and stop. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them called in a hit-and-run.[emoji39]

I’d like to have a golf tdi. Love the VW tdi cars.

Morning midlanders!

Almost nothing on the news here on the wind damage in Iowa until this morning an article in the St. Joe News Press.

I guess if it isn’t political, about the virus or some celebrity, it isn’t fit to print.

Yep
Weather doesn't generate enough DRAMA for the left to report....
