Them calipers were put on Old Blue twenty nine years ago when he got his new frame.

So, yes, sludge has built up.

Remind me in ten years to flush the brake lines so it don’t happen again. [emoji6]
Flush every 7 years.

Build you a vacuum canister , and use ac vacuum pump .

Makes it easy.

I vote Walleye. Bottom part of tail is white on a Walleye.

RR caliper overhauled and installed. [emoji106]

LR off and apart. Just as gross inside. [emoji1785]

I wonder if one could boil brake pads in a kettle w/soap and get the brake fluid out. [emoji2960]

I have a kettle and SIL has a fire pit thingy. [emoji16]

Got another project to run and cut today. A couple of before and after pics. Hey Carl! This thing needed a couple of dips plus the bar/chain soaked in vinegar for 48 hrs. Turned out well, and I just need to get the muffler fitted back on it. It's louder than a Mighty Mite now, and cuts slower!IMG_0898.jpg IMG_0899.jpg IMG_0995.jpg IMG_0996.jpg

Some of them Orline came with a black rubber ball for a pull start handle.

Yup, the older ones have the round ball handle like this one. This is on a drill that has never been fired up. And, it’s on a FedEx truck heading for my house this Friday. Lucky to have found it for sale, I am.

Are they riveted type? Or bonded?

Riveted. Rayabestus brand.

Had to buy some bonded from O’Reilleys.

I’d prefer to reinstall the riveted as they have been seated to the particular rotor.

Morning midlanders!
