Back in the early 80's St Louis got 20" inch official. My yardstick showed the 4 not the 2 when pushed into contact with the sidewalk out front. Official stuff happens only at the airport there

Study with graphs for different country's shows it don't matter if response is like Israel = isolation or the sop of Sweden, this thing has a life schedule of a peak at 6 weeks tapering down over the following 2 weeks. WE don't effect it with our behaviour. Like the climate or the tides.
Don't forget, a quite a few folks put a lot of stock and live their lives according to computer models that apparently need to be revised daily.

Embarrassing to say, I hear a saw running next door and there is my neighbor, on a ladder, with a new MS170 trimming the pear in his front yard. [emoji2960]

He got a stimulus check. [emoji6]

Of course I offered him the use of my HT75 (thanks Matt!) but he is nearly done.

There will be his old Poulan 2200 added to the pile in my garage.[emoji57]

It’ll do both, yes.

But I have no idea how to use it. I don’t do woodworking.. just need to plane about 400 oak 1x6’s.. then it’s job will be done.
I have one, too.
Find your thinnest board and adjust all others to that one. Or, decide how thick you need and just plane individual ones to that spec. It's just a dial that sets the height.
Jeep in mind, you can't plane 1/4 at a time. Many small passes.
It ain't rocket science.

Lucky! If only my neighbors would give me their old saws.

Just remember that a planer is a "thicknesser".
It does not remove twist or crooks.
A jointer is a "flattener".
Normally you would join (flatten) one side, and then plane (thickness) to make the other side the same.

For building a deck, a planer should do just fine as long as the lumber is decent.

Just make sure that it is set up properly before you start, and don't try to take too much off at a time.
Set your depth, and then run the whole pile through, then readjust, and run the whole pile through again.
Doing one board at a time will be a killer.

Morning midlanders!

Sprinkled here but clearing off now. [emoji1696]

Watching for the MS250 Easy Start flywheel to hit the mailbox.

Compare key vrs magnet location first to see any difference. [emoji848]
So you own an Easy Start saw. Do you like having it on your 250?
