He can thrash on the dually as long as he doesn't tear the fenders off and fixes anything he breaks.
While the V6 has more power, I've always held the belief that the smaller, and more powerful, they get the shorter the life span they have. Bigger and slower lasts longer in my book.Interestingly enough, they came out with the 7.3 gas for folks that didn't want/need a diesel. But the turbocharged 3.5 V6 puts out more hp and torque.
That sweet corn is really good, too.@Hedgerow maybe you and Lisa can come visit Jr while he is in KC.
Bring Brenda and I some sweetcorn when you come.
Lot's of fun stuff in KC (aka Thunderdoom) per Wayne.
He has moved already..@Hedgerow maybe you and Lisa can come visit Jr while he is in KC.

Seems to beIt’s ok..
We knew the 6.2 was the “go to” all along..

You can still bring Lisa to visit, along with some of that sweetcorn.
Enid OK..
Guess they needed some repairs.
It would be interesting to see a pulling contest between the 7.3 gas and the 3.5 turbo. My money would still be on the 7.3.Seems to be
You are right. All that extra mass down low holding the crank firm will keep it happy for a long time.
I was just wanting to see a torque number in the 500-550 range.

An old hot ridding term. "There's no replacement for displacement. "
I walked across the street and pick terrific sweet corn last night. Corn seed company plants a city block for everyone to enjoy.

In researching the two of them, it came out about like where I figured. The 3.5's power band is higher than the big block. The 7.3 is designed to grunt lower, much lower. To me, that's better pulling power and longer life. A lot remains to be seen, but I envision a very long life engine here.Where's the power at in them?
