Whew, that was close. I was about to change the date for the cut. Didn't want to be doing that Fathers Day weekend.

I went to high school in Kansas and it consisted of 10, 11 and 12th grade. It was somewhat unusual for a sophomore to compete at the state level in track.
But here, we have Levi. A Freshman, 9th grade, that went to the State competition!!!
This is such a huge accomplishment that it is almost beyond comprehension. In my high school, if you went to State, you automatically lettered. I hope it's the same for Levi. My heart swells, knowing this young man. But I'm sure it doesn't compare to the pride that Dad and Mom have.
Well done, Levi. The future belongs to you.

my garden was still on the wet side probably should have mudded the beans and the corn in. There is still time.

I've found it don't pay to try to be early with a garden..
The cold nights and torrential downpours just ruin all your hard work..

Yep I have plans for another solar greenhouse build in the near future. I have built 8 others over the years.

WE got stuff out pretty early for us.Potatoes look great.beans good.cucumbers lost first planting to a really hard rain.Tomatoes look good some are blooming 18" tall or so.Sqush looks really good.Okra just starting to come up.been in the ground almost 2 weeks.I cut down the biggest tree I have ever cut down the other day about 14"with an axe standing dead walnut.Now I am going to freehand a timber out of it.
