Nope, I watched them cartoons on Saturday morning at the neighbors.

We didn’t have a TV.

I only had one pair of shoes. We lived in the two car garage Dad built before the rest of the house. No water heater. Bathed in a galvanized wash tub on Saturday evening so I didn’t smell bad for church Sunday morning.
Mom heated water on the electric stove or on top of the kerosene space heater. Dumped hot water down her chest lifting the pressure cooker pot off the heater. Scalded pretty bad.
