How many of you all want an Echo 1001evl?

Can I get a head count?

That includes you lurkers.

As many as four may be available.
Depends on the price.

Good morning. Picked up this Dayton earth auger the other day. The two-stroke Tecumseh engine was the attraction since there is no earth to auger around here. It looked like someone had tried at one time as the auger ramps were folded against the shaft at the bottom. I bet it took them for a spin when it hooked up to the rocks.[emoji3061]

I have a quite a bit newer model with the small Tecumseh motor. It has both dirt and ice augers. We used it to drill the 24 holes for the cabin's foundation posts.
These outfits should have handles for two people, because any rock encounter that is larger than a potato sends that head around right now! It has a torsion shock spring on the shaft anchored with a 3/8" bolt and it has bent the bolt enough so I'd have to cut it off to get it apart.

I used the 10" dirt auger first, but then got to try the ice auger the next winter. Ice was so much fun to drill, I was all over the lake asking if guys needed new holes drilled!

Yeah, I think this one would have it's way with you. It's got an 84cc engine.
