West Alton MO is being flooded. Corpse of engineers see 3 extra feet of water over max flood restraint. Before it gets there the attempt is to balance pressure on each side of that concrete wall so it isn't pushed over. Around 7 miles long more or less. Not a quote but if we save the wall this time it will remain for many years . If it fails this time west Alton will be defenseless for a lotta years while repair/replace is done.
