And:Absolutely. Very few of our customers appreciate the extra effort and cost of square grinding. As long as it goes around the bar and makes chips instead of smoke they're happy!!!
I also like that it can do the depth gauges........
That thing looks real good steve! That's gonna be a fun toy!View attachment 165143 View attachment 165144
Found out its a '48. Not a '47.
58 cubic inches of stump pulling power.
Runs real smooth.
That was their way of boasting...
in a Swedish sorta way..
“We can remove this much and keep the cutter cool” sorta thing,
Which for me and anyone else who gets thrashed chains, is important..
It’s probably near $7500.00..
And I’m thinking about worth it.
I bought one of them temco sharpeners, will try to check back in when I've tried it out.
Last Saturday I sat and ground 130 chains on my Simington and Foley for four dollars each. If this one can do most of that alone and free me up, its money well spent.
Local Stihl dealer here has an automatic grinder from Germany. Close to $20K he says. He did a 40” chain for me but it took a lot off the cutters. Fun to watch it run.

I really like those machines, but in typical German fashion, they've over engineered those things to the point the price has gone through the roof and you'll need a $200 per hour technician any time something goes haywire and it starts throwing warning lights at you..Probably a Franzen. They are in the sack with Stihl.
