No deer today, i saw a flag in a thicket
From the back of the blind she wasn't
Running , but i wasn't gonna shoot
A doe in the bung hole, in a hundred yard
Deep thicket of thorns......
On the way back down the trail
We got into deer in between us and
The house, no safe shot
I did see 5 turkeys
Doing a odd looking Turkey dance,
Never went on real Turkey hunt before
Something i hadn't really ever watched .
They were not bothered by us in the deer blind At all, I also saw a buck creeping around Before 1st light, watched an owl .
And some birds. Im glad i got up and went. Exercising my right to a legal hunt

Thanks Hedgerow I needed that. 24 degrees & the wind is pretty raw yet, just popped over a hill & the dirt road has totally slimmed over. I be fooked now, just waiting on the tractor. I guess I won’t be hauling out of these bins this week or next & or probably the following week since I’m sure some rain or snow will be forth coming. At least I got 2 loads out.

The new battery in the ‘95 Dodge cleared up the engine idling issues for some unknown reason. [emoji848]

Before it was one foot on the gas the other on the brake to keep it from dying at intersections. [emoji2959]
