Those ‘islands’ on the piston skirt are the unworn ares. They stick up .005” from the running surface. Lots of aluminum went out the exhaust.

Well, I went the cheap way on heat for the shop. I figure if it doesn't work out, I can sell the 6" stainless pipe. The walls on the pipe measure .160".

Crank has been terrible hot. Fortunately I have one in an 017 carcass. They interchange.

Just make sure you keep it a generous distance from your walls..
It’ll make good heat.

First field is done. Made around 25 bu/ac. After looking at the messed up strips I'm sure the sprayer man didn't get his boom cleaned. It had almost cleared up by the end of the field. Field #2 is looking much better.



The auger cart is handier than a pocket on a shirt. It would've been a nightmare trying to get a loaded truck out of there.
