Almost time to fire up the splitter.

South tree line got cleared Saturday and Sunday.

Bet that’ll be good for another 50 bushel of oats this spring.
Nice having some field back. Still got a few dandy trees that may get culled, but for now, they’re just scared and minding their P’s and Q’s.

And 2 giant brush piles to burn if Kenneth would hurry up and invent the brush pile BTU converter.

If not, I’ll do my best to just increase my personal carbon footprint.. Al Gore can go piss up a rope.

I @Dub11 has the same idea I have but cost is prohibitive. And the time spreading chips out to dry recovering them storing them. I'll stop here or this will get tltr.

if a man didn't have to work a BS
9-5 you'd have loads of free time.

Too bad a guy can't take that brush and compress it into pellet a larger pellet form .
Sounds like we need to make a brush to pellet machine.

They do that in Seymour every day.
Make pellets from sticks too small to make saw logs.
I'm gathering current size pellets are made from sawdust. I'm thinking bigger chips like is from a tree chipper. Pressed into pellets 2-4 inches diameter and a foot long .

They beat you to that idea..

Loooooooog time ago.

IIRC, in 1956 in Yellowstone Park cabin we had pressed wood ‘logs’ for the wood space heater.

Yes, it got cold at night. Didn’t really get very warm during the day. Mid July. [emoji15]
