They can be fickle but cheap heat if you've got the oil.

I've read that.
I've also read that some guys run it into a baffle of sorts for better burn, but have a real blinker build up issue they gotta keep cleaned out.
I'm thinking simple drip may be way less maintenance.

That's what ours is I believe its 1/2" black pipe.

I've also read that some guys run it into a baffle of sorts for better burn, but have a real blinker build up issue they gotta keep cleaned out.
I'm thinking simple drip may be way less maintenance.

Filled up the GTG Van today after the trip this past weekend. It used a half of a tank.
17.5 gallons. So, it's a 36 gallon tank plus or minus. 10.4 mpg. :eek:
I swallowed hard on that one for a bit. But, I guess, considering its no different than pushing a brick down the highway at 70 mph, it's not really that bad. Goldie figured it would get about 4 so she's happy with it .

My ‘94 Chevy 1/2 t 4wd 6 would get 14.5 at 70.

18 at 65. Kept my foot out of it.
