The hole time I was aboard the U.S.S Dixie AD-14 the hammock was right over my storage place. Least from my waist up. The oldest ship under continuous duty. Commission before Pearl & I came aboard in 1971, de-commed 1982. I'm a more talented sleeper, either side and on my backTony: Sleeping in a hammock sucks.
I did for three months. Can only sleep on your back. My squad mates poked me every time I started snoring. But, I was dry during the monsoon.
@Hedgerow I don't quite pick up what you are laying down, since I have enjoyed worse experiences after they were done & what about the bed you requested next to the cooler
