Morning all, worked on the old 72
Chevy truck until 12:30 last night
It's getting more "right" all the time
It has a good running 355 I built
For my old cutlass, a really nice t350
Auto guaranteed to hold 500 hp,
(That engine doesn't need that trans
But it's what I had) rebuilt drive shaft,
And really good 456, ho 52 rear end.
New Brakes, bearings packed,
Various suspension repairs.
I replaced and repaired all the under hood wiring that needed fixed.
Nothing was cobbeled up. Unmolested
For such an old truck. Hopefully i
Get her running again today :)

Sounds like you have that truck in pretty good shape now. You took me down memory lane with that description.
Learned to drive "formally" in a 72 chevy.
Am now glad it had a six cylinder. Don't know if I would still be here if it woulda had a hot eight cylinder

Any tips on straightening out a bent 880 front wrap handle?

Project is dead in the water.[emoji22]

Not seeing much spark either.[emoji37]

Head through Carthage on the way to Dawt Mill for a craft fair and lots of carving time. Put us in a little cabin on the river this time. Sweet. Pics will be forth coming. Anyone in South Central Mo should come on over Sat or Sunday and say hi. they have 60 craft vendors this time along with stage coach rides....

Set the coil closer to the flywheel and now it is snatching the rope out of my hand.
I have the decomp valve bleed port out to 3/32". Need a temporary way too hold it in.

I was gonna call you up
And call you a jive turkey. .
No reason. ... just because

Me and Bran are tailgating at
Colton s steak house ....
Hanging out in lawn chairs waiting
For them to give us the food call
People are looking at us like
A monkey just jumped out of my ear...
Beautiful weather,
And the smells of steak.. om nom nom

Our first new truck was a 69 chevy 350 auto. If I remember right it cost 2200.I found a few more mushrooms yesturday.I found out today it was a good thing I was a welder instead of a brick layer. A bunch of the wood I had stacked up fell over.
Hi cookie :)
