Smaller bearing? that side seal is a hassle for sure.Ended up with the 026 carcass from the MS460 client. Flywheel side bearing is toast just like the carcass from Steve P.
What’s up with that?[emoji848]
Anybody ever seen one of these? Dad has had one in the weeds for years. Gonna dig it out this afternoon to start rebuilding it it's got a mac 101 engine on it. Definitely gonna need a motor for sure.

Good morning!
Well, I must say it is good to be back home with Nancy and the Progeny. I spent Friday night in Marcelline, MO, because it was late and I was having trouble concentrating, which lends itself to suboptimal outcomes....
Report: My stepfather's sprits are greatly improved, and he even agreed to have Visiting Angels come out twice a week to help him out, spend time, check on him, and so forth. This was a big deal to get His Stubbornness to go along with, lemme tell ya. He called me yesterday, and he actually sounded better than he had in years. So, this was a successful trip. Lost a week of work and pay, but it was well wroth the price of admission. I pulled down and loaded up a rotten cedar fence in his back yard, cleared three Z-shaped (through limbs pushing on them) overhead lines via some quite daring (even for me) 12 foot stepladder/chainsaw-on-a-stick shenanigans (wearing brown pants lol), got on the roof and cleaned gutters, trimmed a huge evergreen hedge, mowed the grass, replaced a built-in microwave, hauled out and replaced with new ones two 70-year old mattress/box springs sets (on the second floor), and did some other small chores. Glad to be home so I can relax a bit!
Emerson is out of school for two weeks, so my tree jobs are on hold a while.
Weather-Tech mats are in for Gentleman Gim; I go pick them up tomorrow. The folding bed cover I got for the trip performed perfectly. Security and weather-tightness helped out in rainy Chicago.
Chicago traffic sucks. I am NOT a big-city boy. I told Nancy I was going to get two worn out tractor tires, cut them each in half, and cover all four corners of my truck with them, and drive reckleesly around up there, and make everyone get out of my way. There are just too dam many people up there crammed into one place.
Hope your day is good, men.
That looks like it would be a total blast. With a Mac 101 it should really get with it. Please post pictures while you work on it. Can't wait to see a video of it running.Anybody ever seen one of these? Dad has had one in the weeds for years. Gonna dig it out this afternoon to start rebuilding it it's got a mac 101 engine on it. My grandparents lived on farm on the West edge of Marceline until they both passed away. Our family cemetary is a few miles West of Marceline. My Grandparents, Great Grandparents, and Great Great Grandparents are buried there.Marcelline is a nice little town . After I met my wife we used to go up there a couple of times a year .
Wife's grandmother was born, raised, lived, raised a family and is now buried there. She was 103 years old . She witnessed 3 centuries. 1800's, 1900's, 2000's. Raised 4 kids in a little bungalow house. I thought it was interesting that the basement was hand dug after the house was built, by about 30 years. When her and her husband (wife's grandfather) first moved in, after building it, he planted a Pin Oak in the back yard . That tree was still there after they placed her in a nursing home . It was a large tree.
Town was also Walt Disny's boyhood home . Grandmother remembered him as a kid .
So what, in yalls opinion, officially constitutes OFdom. Just curiousYour only a year away. Buddy. LOL
I told Gwenna, the nice young gal who came to set me up with my little room (for under $60) that I thought it was a pretty town, that seemed to be sensibly run by sensible people. A far cry from the outskirts of Scranton... LOLMarcelline is a nice little town . After I met my wife we used to go up there a couple of times a year .
