Does everybody have ticks this year? Man they are really bad here this year.Go out and we get three or four every time.I think our mushrooms are done.I went out wednesday found two one really nice one but they were really dry.

Yes. I went out for a about 5 hours yesterday looking for mushrooms. Found very few. Flicked off 14 ticks before I stopped counting, and 19 more after I stripped and jumped in the shower. My wife was pretty grossed out by that. Shrooms are just about done here. I'll give another try or two and call it quits.

Well, here is a status report on the mosquito things I hung outlast month. Last night I got bit in a park a few blocks from here, so they are active. At our place, I have yet to see or experience a single mosquito. I was outside this evening tidying up, and I did not see one mosquito. Nancy, mosquito magnet extraordinaire, said she has not seen a single one in our yard as of yet. So fa, excellent. Early in the season, but normally we are swarmed right back into the house by the little buggers.

Well hope everything is well with everybody. Went to a machine gun shoot yesterday had a blast! Literally! Nothing like the sound of a mini gun cranking out 3000+ rounds per minute! Then today ate lunch with family after church and tonight I got some of my chicken coop sorted out. 43 chickens are growing faster than I can upgrade their home. Should have plenty of eggs though!
