I remember my Grandpa having that brand of spreader and utility wagon on his farm in the '50s. Local short-line dealer sold them.

Iffin I had a good 011 crankcase assembly (four bolt cylinder), I could build another 012.[emoji106]

One wouldn’t expect much performance difference but it is there, I guarantee.[emoji108]

It's a 43 cc saw that can run picco 14" bar with authority. Kenneth knows of a picco chain that is nicely aggressive cutting. I really like the reed valve popping idle and the grinding whine when cutting. It reminds me of when I was a kid in the 1960s and they'd work on trees in my neighborhood.

John, this would fit you.

A Kahr 380? Looks just fine.

I have a pretty established mindset that a hammerless wheelgun (not a cheapo) is the best thing in a crisis when all the thought process is in reflex mode. Especially since I hardly ever shoot any more. Five Silvertip 38+Ps with zero reliance on a complex mechanism, no wondering if I have one in the pipe, and so forth, oughta be enough to deal with any situation I might encounter. If I'm going after some of my former students (I taught four years in the SCJDC in Topeka), then it's time to consider the Remington Deathmaster®, an 870 I had 20 years ago with a fore end flashlight and a bunch of other cool death stuff on it...

Any carry handgun that needed accuracy, like as in a schoolteacher needing to take down a kamikaze blaze of glory seeker would have to have a laser. I had a Glock 23 with an ALS integral laser setup that was 10 ring at 50 feet every time, from the hip.

yee haw those were the halcyon days.

Good morning!

I have in my back yard a folded up hereford hide on a tarp, defrosting. My buddy and I went in on a beef he slaughtered, and I got the hide. It weighs about 80 lbs, and is a frozen rectangular prism at present. I hope I can get it unfolded and salted before it gets cold later in the week.

Fun stuff
