Well I guess technically I'm on second shift. Worked for 6-3:30 then went to town got parts for our c-15 cat needed starter parts to finish a job n the morning. It fried the brushes. Then gotta rebuild starter so it's ready to install n the morning.

Wound up replacing the original ignition with a 12 volt battery and a car coil still using the original points.
Sawnami inspired me to go this route.

My dad did that with a Wizzer motorbike someone left in grandpa’s shop when I was a kid.

Sadly we couldn’t afford a battery so it went back.[emoji22]

It was a twelve year old’s dream.

Battery went back in the family car.

I was a typical teenager. Lost my brain when I was 12, didn't find it till I was 21. Only started to really get to know my dad at that point. My parents never divorced or anything, they were always home together. He just never really took center stage in my life, until I turned 21. Then we started getting closer and carried on meaningful conversations. He died when I was 25. I miss talking to my dad.
