Lots on neat equipment there, finally had a chance to check out the links.

I have a South bend 9" by 36" model 25-y lathe, production date is 9-11-13. Has a Westinghouse motor with a production date of 3-18 (I think, can't see the tag and couldn't find pic I had taken). I wish I had a spare minute to use it once in a while...

I sure appreciate the offer though, I would love to have the space (and time) for a large lathe. I really like old mechanical stuff like that. My restored/repaired/rebuilt ( with the lathe) bench vice is a Holland's Erie PA 14, plated VN 1863.

That is similar to the first lathe I ever ran at about 14-15 years of age .They might be old but will still get-er -done .I'm not sure about that one but the later had tapered spindle bushings that could be adjusted to compensate for wear if they get loosey goosey . They are not "quick change" but if you have enough change gears they can cut just about any feed rate or SAE thread .Just keep oil on it and it could likely last forever .

An acquaintance is trying to sell his 1130G, am interested just have no idea on price. Has been gone through and sounds good, just don't know enough about these big old gear drives. And advice is appreciated.

They're not a huge dollar saw unlike it's big brother 3100G.
Condition is everything. If you can post a pic it would give
us a much better idea as to what a current value could be.
Also depends on what bar and chain is on it.

Wonder why all the decals have been removed and the model on the UT tag
has been removed as well. 2 to 4 hundred depends on who wants it.

@Lee H thanks, that was kinda my thinking also. He is asking quite a bit more than that, and I was curious to be honest.

I have a fairly nice 1050A that would bring $350 easy in my area. Already been offered that. Not for sale at present, tho.

$300 - $400 depending on bar, mostly length, and chain type. 40 + inch bars and 1/2 chisel bring good money.

I'm betting it could possibly be a stolen saw from who knows when. The saw looks
to have very little use as the rear handle has literally no wear in the paint. Someone
took the effort to remove all the decals and that part of the UT tag.

Dead in here. [emoji848]

Found a cute roller nose .050” x 16” bar at Jeff’s yesterday.

I’m sure it fits SEZ and XL-101 types.

Unless someone can’t live without it, I’ll clobber out the dog holes to fit small Huskies.

I’ve got some 925 parts. Good piston and cylinder. No ignition. I’ll take what ever I can get out of it. I’ll even trade it for a good bar. Husqvarna. Not including shipping.2B64FCB5-3626-4566-8A4C-94F9AA7B072C.jpegE03B5C79-D1EE-44BC-93A9-BD6EB3EA14A2.jpegA4487092-FE67-4B88-B2C8-FE6328416600.jpeg

I need to tear it down next an install the modded cylinder and bigger carb. Progress is slow due to living in an RV park and working on the truck tailgate. A big thanks to @Yukon Stihl for sending this one south!

Good compression and spark should run. I think it is a 245 with 240 recoil and side cover. Middle paint doesn’t match side cover. The 240 does not have the manual Oiler .

Today's arrival: My first Homelite, a Super XL Automatic, Model AO in rather good condition, even the decals seem
well preserved including the original "Replace chain with OREGON brand chains" sticker.
Needs some cleaning and probably new diaphragms but that's something for coming long summer evenings:

When were these saws built? Around 1970 or so?
