I found a few also and called a couple places but no parts.
I think the ads are old, or the parts go fast.

where did you find them?

Best thing to do is get an online copy or the printed version of Rock and Dirt. It's a monthly copy. Plenty of wreckers and parts machine suppliers.

Well after a whopping total of $800 invested I have the machine at my place.
Now to clean the hydraulic tank and filters, refill with oil , fill the swing box, re mount the fuel tank, fix the fuel lines, replace fuel filter, open up the final drive motors to inspect, I can test it out.

What exactly does the electric “mode switch “ do? It’s full of dirt and stuck.

Thanks all!

I think it might be dig / travel.
I’ll check the manual tonight.

it’s stuck in the middle , maybe it has 3 positions….

The manual says it’s basically a full power or economy switch.

So , I ran it for a bit today. Only the boom functions work. No swing , no travel either side.

It make a clicking noise the shaft moves in and out a touch on the left side if you cycle the travel back and forth.
The right side didn’t really do anything.
The swing did nothing.
All three functions made the rpm drop and pump change sound.
Sounded like in a machine when it’s still locked out or something.

I don’t give up that easily, I’ll have to satisfy my curiosity of what is wrong.

I’ll part it out or sell it to a salvage yard before I scrap it.

Yes I understand. But that is normally what a salvage//used parts house gives for machines. It is normally by the weight. The only problem with selling used parts off it is it's a grey market machine. And you really don't know the condition of all the major parts. It's not about giving up, it's more about spending wisely.

It’s just a bigger hobby…not sure wisely plays in, haha.

Resurrection of this thread. I’m pretty certain the small pilot pump is bad and not unlocking the brakes for the swing and travel. My neighbor found all the necessary parts for about 5k$. It’s still on the probably fix path.
In the meantime I bought a John Deere 500C diesel backhoe for a good price in working condition, a towable rough terrain Baker Otis forklift, 3 Ford F600s , and 3 square body Chevy trucks, a fixer upper 09 gmc 3500 hd dump truck with 20k miles and I think that’s all.
