If you go over to arboristsite & find Adam08ski's thread, how much better is the 372 with the cylinder skirt removed there is a ton of info about the 268 - 372 mod, by westcoaster 90.

It isn't running too bad. That was a project back in my beginning days of grinding. I recently went back through it to see what can be done to make the best of what it is. When I'm done I'll put a stock jug back on it before woods porting it for a good all around comparison.
