Does the cs 2145 handle split in half. Guy dropped it off and the operator presence handle is locking out the trigger somehow.

I don't see any screws holding the two halves together.

That looks a lot like a 346 tank, the lock out comes out of the top of the handle,it clips in the trigger has a small rivet in the very front of it,tank does not split.

I have seen tanks that have a roll pin that you can drive out but this tank only has a roll pin showing on one side? Do you still drive it out to remove the operator presence part? The top part of the trigger springs normally upward on its own. Something is clearly upset though in there.

There are two levers on both side of the operator presence button towards the rear of it,a small screw driver pushed between the handle and the lever will release it through the top of the handle.

Fixed! The plastic push piece that goes over the end of the throttle rod fell off down into the trigger and was stopping the trigger from coming up. Customer took the saw apart partially to clean so he must have done that cleaning it.

Thanks for the info.
