Anyone out there have a good top end for a Stihl 038 Magnum? I’ve found cylinders and pistons from different people but the letter designations haven’t matched. Let me know, thanks!
@Woodpecker @MastermindOops, realized I put this in saws instead of parts. If someone can move it that would be great. Thanks.
Oops I should’ve done that, thanks!
Sent you a pmOk, so the one that I have is a "C"

Yeah it seems all the cylinders I find without a good piston are “C” cylinders haha.If you can find a good OEM cylinder........
Replacement Stihl pistons are A/B and should fit both.
Meteor pistons are available sized too, but A or B. Boxes are marked with size A or B and in mm.
Find a good cyl and measure it with machinist tools.

This is from an 041 manual, I’ll look in my 038 manual later but I imagine they wouldn’t change the lettering scheme for tolerances. Not seen many marked C.
I forget the size ordering of A B and C? Biggest to smallest. Something I should have kept in my notes.
I've called Wolf Creek before about 026 pistons, you could order Meteor by sizes.
Right now I have a NOS Tecomec P/C assy and a NOS Stihl A/B piston for my 038Ms. They are my 70cc saws. I should get some gasket and carb kits, think I have hoses, before NLA. Have a couple parts carcasses.
