I got this starter in a parts lot and it has me stumped. It is metal (aluminum?) and has no identifying marks on it that I can see. I looked through 1000+ starters on eBay and couldn't find any that came close. Given the half moon indent on the left, I thought it should be a chainsaw starter but durned if I could find it. It appears a shade redder than Husky orange. The bottom two mounting holes are about 10 centimeters (3 7/8") apart. The socket cap screw holding the pulley on seems to be metric.

I figure most of the OPE world is smarter than me so I'm hoping someone has seen this before and can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Wow, that didn't take long! Thanks Jacob, looking at this saw online I'd say you nailed it. I've got a lot to learn....
