I found it by accident, glad to be here with all the usual folks.I can't believe how this site is taking off. For the last few months I've not wanted to talk saws, post pics, threads, etc. It seemed like every thread either ended up deep in the ditch, or mired in an argument. I was ready to walk away from the forums.....
This new site is a clean slate for all of us guys that love the saws, but are sick of the egos. We have a chance to make this site into everything we want a site to be.
Personally, I plan to make this my new home. I'll be doing build threads, sharing ideas, and hopefully I'll be able to learn from the great group of guys that I see here.
I see some of the best saw builders in the business have joined up already. I'm looking forward to being a member of a saw forum for the first time in a long time.
Thanks for showing up, Randy
A friend told me about it.I found it by accident, glad to be here with all the usual folks.

Hi there buddy happy new yearI found it by accident, glad to be here with all the usual folks.
I got a Shinie question. Where can you get 757 pistons?
I'm here to share the interest with chainsaws. Don't know it all, never will. I hope everyone can stay open minded and work together. Those that are reading this, hear me now, I got no use for horn blowers or cheerleaders. I say give credit where credit is due. The wonderful thing about chainsaws is there is more than one way to skin a cat. Not that one way is always better either! Just because so and so does it that way does not mean it's the only way.
And one more thing while it's on my mind, over the years I've seen more trouble created when someone gets a saw modified/woodsported and end up at a gtg and wind up compared to someone with a hotter saw, and are upset and mad at their builder cause they got beat! Or.....or..... Let me preach on it! Lol. Or who ever done the winning, ragging the other person that their builder cheated them. This group of people(cheerleaders) pair up with a saw builder and thumping their chest like a gorilla showing off their chainsaws. Whew!(Rick flair voice) Ugh! It happens, always has and always will. But really, it needs to stop.
I can go on and on, but wow, I feel better already. I'll save the rest for later!
Scott can you please post these up in the thread I created for you my friend.
A very truthful statementI've seen a fair number of chainsaws. I've also seen a bunch of trees. I have yet to see a single tree that owned a stopwatch.
I am hoping it is just a little ripple effectWell, things don't seem much different here than that "other place". I think the peace on earth thing has fallen by the wayside already.
Glad to see you could join usIf you need a 757 piston, call Kyle at Cassadaga Edge and Engine and tell him Josh in Idaho sent you.
Or, you could send that burned down saw to me.
