While we're talking 066 mufflers, the one Jason helped me with still had the factory cover, and same outlet, but the cage was taken out. What works good on these for extra outlets? I'm a good welder

@Red97
Here are a pair of Reds deflectors TIG welded onto the flywheel side of both 066's mufflers.
I like the thicker screen.

Thanks Red !!
I LOVE your deflectors !!!!image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

The other kevin...what size mesh are you using? 20? @Moparmyway
I have the specks at home, but wont be home untill tonight.
I got 4 different screens from MSC, all stainless, the fine wire screen has the most % of open area, followed by the thicker screening.
The thicker stuff is about bulletproof though ............ perfect for permanent installations.

I'll get both screens details up tomorrow morning

@mdavlee has both on their way to his place, he can weigh in after he gets back from his trip

When you welded those on...the screen just slips in from the front? A tight fit holds it in?
No, I am a hack .............
I squeezed the screen under the deflector and welded them together.
Thats why the weld bead is so thick, had to fill the gap created by the screen.

I don't think that qualifies you as being a hack. I'll show you mine when I'm done. Then you'll know the difference :rolleyes:
