High Quality Chainsaw Bars Husqvarna Toys Hockfire Saws

Has the 661 been proven like the 066/660?

I do not like he changed the reference to me as "retard" after he knew I had read the post.

He is underhanded and sneaky, and I got no tolerance for that.

Talk about being retarded, first he says it happens to a saw that is only used 5-6 time per month, then he says it did not happen to me because I don't use my saws every day!

Who is the retard??? He makes no sense, and then others start agreeing with him ... just can't make this up!

Nothing but a bunch of nonsense dribbling from his mouth.

It happens to my 201 on a daily basis...pisses me off to no end.

It doesn't piss me off AS bad with my 661 because I don't use it as much...still mildly annoying but I can live with it.

Understand yet ?

Then don't act retarded..problem solved.

And it was this autocorrect on my phone that changed it so I edited it..happens alot.

We'll settle it when i make a GTG over tea and crumpets...trust me :)

Oh shoot this thread got me nervous... I recently purchased a new 661 from the guy in Canada. It's never been fueled, hoping I don't have a problem with it as I was planning on bringing it to Connecticut Saturday. Maybe somebody that can help me set it up I have no idea about the new m-tronic.... I'm only familiar with the little yellow screwdriver...

Super easy. It calibrates itself.
Very simple process.

@sawmikaze I have noticed the same thing....firewood guys usually seem to have decent luck with autotune/mtronic, and they are definitely willing to ignore and put up with issues that a pro will toss a saw for. its the guys putting 2-4 gallons a day thru a saw that want nothing to do with mtronic.

A saw should be reliable and enjoyable to use, not an aggravating POS, especially when its a $1200 saw. we will see just how reliable or not the second gen is as well as the fuel injection on the new saws. when i cut/sold firewood i had a jred 2260, good saw, great power, but it went down the road really quickly because i wasnt dealing with the hot start issues. a warm saw should start in 1 easy/ half a ssed pull, not 1 pull 50% of the time and 2-4 pulls and an occasional 8-10 pulls the remaining 50%.

Nate - I don't have issues with my M Tronic saws, run em all you want it won't change anything. I think a lot of folks try to start them on Start when they are warm and it floods them. Same thing will happen to a standard saw if you use Choke setting when it is warm. Flooded saws don't like to start, does not matter the flavor.

Jeff, I will not be making CT this year, it is in Tax Season.

Yea, I understand, you change the rules as you go along to fit what ever you want to say.

We'll settle it when i make a GTG over tea and crumpets...trust me :)

Looking forward to it, let me know if you want me to bring the gloves, we can put on some entertainment for the troops.
