I have yet to see where a round filed chain lasts longer than square other than semi-chisel. I have ran three tanks through my 261 bucking on trees that I dropped in 2014 and piled when we built our house. It could use a touch up now.

Before I started filing square I read alot about how it doesnt hold up and I was wary considering. Now I can, after using it, say that is utter bullsheet.
