Recovering from this surgery put me back a couple of weeks....but work kept showing up. I'm sorta used to being behind though. LOL

Hey @Mastermind how do you get the flywheel of a 025? It's a friend's saw that has been sitting the last 10+ years, I gave it a good rip and it started and ran for about 5 seconds but the pull cord broke so that ended all the fun. Boy were we suprised! It's mostly torn apart now.

With those type "Knocker", I always hand tightened it firmly against the flywheel first.
Now back it off about an eighth of a turn. You basically just want to feel the threads have some free play in them again.
Now I preferred a smaller hammer, say 8oz or so. What your after is a fast sharp swing.
You're needing something that lets you give it that sharp shock.

No need to grab the big hammer, more chance of breaking something with it.
We're not trying to drive a railroad spike.
