I always fancied making a axe handle or two out of the Osage orange

Got the wood stacked at the house. Tote on the right is about 55CF and the one on the left is about a 1/3rd full.
I'd ship you a piece, but not sure how expensive or pain it would be?

12! That's awesome. He's definitely retirement age.

He had 4 litter mates and the last one passed away a year and a half ago already. So, he's outlasted them by quite a bit. Even his parents only made it to 10 and 11 (they were my neighbors, is how I know). He still gets around good for his age. He only really shows it when he plays with my GSD, and tries to act like he's still in his prime. But, he spends his days mostly laying on his couch and relaxing, or outside soaking up the sun.

Edit: Spelling

Can ya get a picture of the whole splitter? That looks interesting.
Very capable splitter, I ran it for 7 engine hours, would have put through approx 80 m3

Splitting Eucalyptus, which is reasonably hard, got through approximately 23 tonnes in 7 hours running, would have been approx 9 hours on-site. My 11 yr old son ran the hydraulics, while I mainly loaded.
Completed piles, sorry I didn't take any before pics

I wonder if you should hire out the splitter to make some extra cash?

I got a little wood cut this morning with my Stump Shot 550xpg and my XS 550xp. Most all the trees I cut are blow overs. I try to find ones that are close to a trail or a pasture. I have to carry all the wood out to a clearing for the landowner to pick up .

I would if I owned it. I hired it myself. $210 per day. $32,500 to puchase in that spec. That is NZD, which is .62 USD.

We rented this one in 2019 with operator for four hours. Can't remember if it was $200 or $250 so sounds like you got a great deal. We discovered that most of our trees we had lined up were not straight enough or a little to big.
