Impressive amount of wood split. I know our Huskee 35-ton is a long way from a fast splitter.
Definitely not a fast cycle time. 80% of this oak only requires the wedge to go in maybe 3-4", so that helps. I've been eyeing up different pumps so I might upgrade to a 2 stage soon.

I saw a lot

Lost the crank in ours, 2009 Briggs, a month or so ago. Replaced it with a Predator 15.6-horse so motor doesn't even slow down on tough stuff now. Maybe in the future we will upgrade the 16-gallon pump, but for now it's working. I tend to use the Dallry-Line Fast 30-ton most of the time anyway so the Huskee seems even slower now.
Again, great job on the work yesterday @Wolverine .

Split enough to fill the rack and then some. I usually don’t mound splits but I’m thinking they could go where next seasons wood comes from.

That is where I stopped. Little fire starter pile and chunks and uglies need cleaned up.

Here's a little from a tree today. It's junk wood, but I'll burn it anyway.

And here's the pickup load from the other day cut to length. Not much splitting needed on that tree.

And a few pieces I split yesterday.

Too much of a good thing fellas. After years and years I finally hit the jackpot of tree guys. He splits any ugly trees with a screw splitter and brings it right to me. I’m running out of time but I’ll hit it hard the next couple weeks and see how far I can get. DB6E1E85-972D-42A2-AEE9-95596028495A.jpeg
There’s a lot more than that split but I stick my pallets wherever they’ll dry.

Steve from the @Stump Shot factory makes them MK2s?

Hmmmm, does yours have the authentic yellow sticker, helps to find them easier in the snow bank.

It's legit, not only that, is also sporting a custom graphic top cover as well, you can't miss it. ;)

Plan to split a little after work ever day I can and just pile the splits up. My son needs to borrow the splitter so hopefully I can get it to him before the heat hits.

You’ve got a fine supply of firewood and a good splitter

So, has the bug bit him yet, with firewood? Or is he just trying to finish up what he has?

I’m not 100% sure yet. He hasn’t really started burning yet. I think once he does they will be hooked. Moved in to a house with the wood burner chimney not plumbed right so he needs help installing a liner, then he’s good.
Not sure if I shared pics of his stash before. I helped him get started.
