Yes it looks like it is holding the wet stuff

I had a couple of loads of white oak last year
It was the same it hanged wet all winter

Yeah it is a shame there's o much ash die back here as well the branches are so brittle and the wood won't last many seasons it does go a horrible colour and punky

Yes, twin pumps and 4" rams out performs a 6" single. Barely slows down in the press, approx 7 seconds cycle time

I got a little this morning with my Stump Shot 550xpg and XS 550xpg. I took down a dead y trunk tree . I dropped it right on the trail so I didn't have to carry the wood far .

I found one with the top broke off and managed to get eight 26" pieces out of it with my XS 572xpg.

I got two more dead trees blocked up this morning. I used my scarr 572XP with a 24" 404 set up. I used my XS 550xpg and my scarr 550xpg for the limbs.

That's close to what I was thinking. A few splits of silver maple and I stuck some between the totes and box side. It was a good day and the @jacob j. 562xp ran like a top.

Pickup unloaded. Ended up with the two totes plus a few chunks in another tote not in the picture. Also had some maple that I separated out. Threw in a picture of Obi and Hank, neighbor guard dogs.

Bucking on top of a flat wagon with my XS 372 and the JD forklift. Buvkinh off a raised movable surface is a game changer. I can make some nice windrows and follow with the splitter. Bonus is all the saw chips are easily collected.

Bucked up an oak tree for my parents. Friend of dads had it fell, said it was standing dead. Dad is 77 and wanted to roll the “big” ones on his truck.

Sausage stuffed 365sp made quick work of it.


Measured their stack and got just over 8 cord of split wood.

Close, but I think it may have been a little less. Still a nice load and glad to have it split. Maybe I can finish it next time I get out there. Ticks have gotten really bad and had several this week. Thinking it's off the wood that was out at Lefty's place.

No plans to get rid of my 03. I've heard many getting 300-400k on the engine if you can keep the frame and body decent, which I am.
